Lord of The Rings Online, please give opinions :P
Hey,
Im currently reading stuff about LOTRO, was wondering if there are any GW players that have it, and would like to share with us their first impressions. Differences with GW? from what Ive read it seems LOTRO is quite close to general gameplay to WoW (but then again, ive not really played WoW). So, please post your impressions

Uhm, I heard it isn't that much fun^^.
I haven't played it yet but by the looks of it I don't like it. Try checking this website you might find something in here http://www.onrpg.com/boards/ I also think their was a thread about LOTRO in here, Off-Topic Thread. Try finding it^^. I played the beta, also play a bit of the final release. I really want to like this game but I can't, the movement, skills, combat system are all wrong for me. The graphic on the landscapes are really nice and really well done but the character's model are not very good imo.
I only played for 15 days out of free 30 days, then I just gave up, the monthly fee aint a big deal for me but I just can't see myself put a lot time in it really. Try it for yourself and see, shame I can't take it back to get my money back. |
